Product Care Guide:

Art Prints + Lino Block Prints

  • Keep print out of direct sunlight as UV can fade ink over time

  • Handle prints by the edges since finger oils can mark paper.

  • Store unframed prints flat or in a tube. Avoiding folding them or storing them in any damp or humid spots.

  • To adhere prints to wall, try to use painters tape (or similar.) When removing, try to do so at an angle so that you don't tear the print or lift paint from wall.

  • The best way to keep an art print safe, is to put it in a UV-protective glass frame with an acid-free mat or backing.

Stickers

  • We’ve tried so many sticker materials to find the most durable options, but making sure stickers live as long as possible comes down to:
    1) adhering it to a flat surface (avoid dusty, textured, or heavily oily surfaces)
    2) cleaning/drying that surface before adhering
    3) pressing firmly and letting adhesive cure for 24 hours before exposing to water

  • Leaving stickers in hot or humid environments can degrade the adhesive over time.

  • To remove a sticker, it helps to warm it up with a hairdryer, peel slowly, and use rubbing alcohol for any adhesive residue that may remain.

Linoleum-block printed clothing

  • Lino prints are created using screen printing ink that is meant for clothing, but fading may occur as you continue to wear your piece (usually just gives it that well-loved look)

  • To avoid fading, it helps to wash clothing inside out on a gentle cycle (similar to how you wash denim jeans!)

  • Avoid ironing directly on the print, bleach, fabric softeners, or any other harsh chemicals that can break down the screen-printing ink

  • Try not to pick or scratch at the print
